Investigations

The Investigative Division is responsible for working reports after they are filed by the Patrol Division. Investigators work all cases which range from simple harassment to capital murder. Investigators are assigned cases on a daily basis. Once an investigator receives a case it is his job to contact parties involved and gain any evidence in an effort to disseminate the truth. Investigators work Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. However, an on call investigator may be reached after hours if the need arises.
